Today was our beloved Christmas decoration day! We have come to love this day spent together and God blessed us with beautiful, bright and sunny weather. As Christmas songs blared merrily, we got to cut down our tree, and attempt to get it home and decorate it.
However, we must have some adventures wherever the Roots are concerned: driving into the garage, forgetting the tree was attached; a tree too tall, too crooked and a bit tipsy; a star on top that refuses to stay upright; bags full of tree lights that don't work, to name a few. :O)
Oh well, we didn't let it ruin our cheer - the kids made great use of the 2 strands that did work!!
Throughout the day, Colson, my little missionary, kept repeating, "This is all for Jesus - Christmas is all about God!" Absolutely.
