whirlwind

We had the joy and honor of caring for another of God's precious little ones this past week. And though I won't pretend for a moment that it was easy, knowing what this little girl has been through in just 19 months of life, we know that it is worth it... that she is worth it. We were BUSY... every single moment was jam packed with activity or preparation for the next activity. There were many diapers to change, baths to give, sweet little outfits to don, bottles and sippy cups to prepare, visits to make with birth families, meals to chop, smash and spoon feed into adorable little mouths, time outs to give, lullabies to be sung, and cuddles to be had. My big kids were champs - loving the little ones to pieces. I tell people all the time we couldn't do it without Ky, Cole and Kade. They were our first God given responsibility and if they didn't embrace these kiddos with all that they are or couldn't handle sharing their mom and dad with others, then Jim and I would not have the freedom we do to take in and love on these little treasures. But they make it possible, and we are so grateful for each of them!! Here's a peek into our whirlwind week:

it had been a few years since we put our 2 high chairs to use... kinda fun to see again.

Ky, Jelly Bean and I were off to join our friends at a Fairy Festival
