Family. Something about the word makes me smile. To me, family means commitment, loyalty, laughter, memories, history, security, forever. Family is there through the thick and thin, bonded together for life. When you hurt, they hurt. When you rejoice, they rejoice. They remind you of who you are and why you're important in this life. Sure we have our disagreements, disappointments and discussions, but we push through, seeking resolution and restoring relationship because the relationships matter. We will carry them with us throughout life. It was with great joy and celebration that we were able to spend precious moments with each of our family members this past Christmas season!!! Grandparents, parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and second cousins - all our precious loved ones that we are bonded to for life. Being far from all of them and missing out on all those every day occurrences, we simply value our time together all the more. How blessed we are with the family God has granted us!!! first stop, California to visit Jim's family! |

It's wonderful to see all the photos of the family. I miss you.
Oh, and the box of books has returned to Oregon. I had the wrong address.
