He didn't have to move our mountains for us to call Him Mighty and Powerful.
He didn't have to change the hearts of man to work against the law for us to call Him Sovereign.
He didn't have to soothe our hearts in such a way for us to call Him Healer and Comforter.
He didn't have to turn our mourning into joy for us to rejoice in Who He is.
He didn't have to perform this miracle for us to know He is a miracle worker.
He didn't have to provide us with the gift of our new daughter for us to call Him Provider and Giver of good gifts.
He didn't have to give us our heart's desire for us to praise Him.
But He did.
To God be the glory, great things He has done!!!!!

Yes, praise Him for He is good!!!
I always wonder about the praise we sometimes give God. We say "God is great" when he does something we like. But what do we say when He says "no". Reading your blog and your emails lately have made made me smile knowing that for you and your family, God is great whatever He does. However, this week, He did an amazingly wonderful thing. Thank you Lord.
