Our Amazing Dad

We've had the opportunity to know several great fathers, and we feel so blessed that God has given our family one of the best! The kids think there is no one greater, stronger, bigger or braver than their Daddy. The boys want to be just like him, and Ky loves to dance with him and call him her hero. I love to see him as a father to our kids and I know how incredibly blessed they are to have him!!

We got to celebrate Father's day with Jim a little early this year, since we were leaving on vacation. We knew what he needed, so his gifts this year were a tool belt and a wheel barrow (how exciting!) in addition to the sweet cards and pictures the kids made for him.

The boys showing off the tool belt - when we bought it Kaden asked me,
"Why are we getting Daddy a seatbelt for his buns?"

We set up the gifts and cards within the wheel barrow to be seen as soon as he opened the garage upon return from work.

The kids were so excited to give him his gifts and especially the cards. They loved telling me all the things they loved about their Daddy for me to write in the cards (except Ky who wrote herself). And no surprise to me was that what was most important to them was the time he spent with them. From Daddy dates and dances, bike rides, bowling and baseball in the park, the time that Jim has invested in the kids is what left an impact, and was what they wanted to thank him for this Father's day.

Ky doting on her daddy.

Group hug as Jim thanks them for the gifts and cards.

We're so proud of our amazing dad!!
