The love of family

All the cousins - Connor (6.5), Kylee (5), Logan (4), Kaden (3.5), Colson (3.5), Hailey (1.5),
Tayvan (14 mo), Nathan (10 mo)

We just completed a full 2 week vacation with family in Oregon and what a wonderful time it was!! We were able to do so many fun things - a week at a resort full of lakes, pools, horses and such - then a week in Eugene, Salem and Portland with trips to parks, the coast and hiking trails. Of course, the most meaningful and memorable moments were those spent with our family and loved ones ... an afternoon of shopping with my big sis for her early birthday celebration ... watching the cousins play baseball together in the park ... talking late into the night with Mom and all the girls sharing our hearts and tears and praying together ... watching my kids' love and adoration for their cousins grow ... being there when my sister and her family moved ... a picnic in the park with my Grandma, Auntie Jan and all the cousins ... an evening of reconnecting with friends from my childhood days ... loving on my precious niece and nephews and having them KNOW me ... two special visits from a long time family friend who is so close she feels like family ... a late evening walk and talk with my little sister ... a trip to the Children's hospital with nephew Connor as I peek into his life as a cancer patient ... uncontrollable giggles and laughter from all the silly things the kids say and do, especially together ... hugs and 'I love yous' from family every night. There's not too much that can compare to the love and commitment of family. Once again, I feel so blessed!!
