Parks, People and Play

The Roots love adventure! Even with 4 little ones now, we continue to make the most of every day as we enjoy God's incredible creation!! (I feel like I keep repeating myself, but you just cannot understand how GRATEFUL we are for nature after living through a midwest winter!!). We love to find new parks to explore, and there is plenty of them in SE Wisconsin. Our city, in particular, has so many wide open spaces and conservancies and we are taking full advantage!

Relationships are also so important to us, and we have been spending a lot of time with our neighbors lately. Mr. Jerry has taken quite a liking to our kiddos and lately will find a "job" for them to do with him. They love helping him out and it makes them feel so big and responsible!! Here they are helping him set up and fill the bird bath!

The boys have discovered that they love tennis!! They love chasing a ball around with a raquet and I love that it burns energy! This afternoon we took our neighbor girls with us to play.

And even Daddy got to get out and have some fun golfing with friend, Troy.

And when we're not galavanting about and spending time with friends and neighbors, we can have a lot of fun in our own back yard!!
